I had some very interesting results with the Z1...
One amp on 2 SP2150's voltage drop from 13.2-11.2 impedance rise of 1.24 ohm mathmatically 4400 watts our of one of these bad boys. Now when I had 4 running off of 2 sp2150's impedance rise of just over 1 ohm 1.02 or something like that it's all in a notebook somewhere. I was getting just under 3400 watts per amp measuring output amperage and output voltage voltage drop to 10.6. Resting impedance was .25 every time. I saw about a 7% power decrease when I strapped the Z1's, but I'm told that has been worked out. I ran them as low as 1/8th ohm strapped and they almost played there... you had to roll them up and they would get 2 clicks from full volume and shut down. I'd strap them at .25 because of how the DD amps protect circuit is you might not get anymore power, but you will find the end of the amp if you didn't already at .5 strapped or .25 individually. We actually had 2 of them break on us at finals ...I personally NEVER had a problem with them in my tests, my amp never had a problem, could have been the other guys install. But DD was there at finals to help so it was all good. I'd say this is one of the strongest 12V amps I've ever seen and I've played with a few to say the least. I sold all of mine because I am taking a step back from Street, but wow were they mean ol' boys. The closest amp I found to a Z1 in my tests was a PHD5000 at 1/8th ohm, but good luck with keeping them together that low. They were within .6 of the Z1, but they'd spit fire every 5 or 6 times you hit played them. E.Q amps are still sick for the money though, but DDZ1's are stupid reliable well they were for me anyway and it didn't really matter how I set up the gains or crossovers they still did their power input voltage didn't seem to matter... just a mean amp. I sometimes wonder what they could have done if the overcurrent protection was taken out of them and allowed them to play strapped at 1/8th ohm. They have a strong enough board for that kind of abuse .

Humm?.. 9000W output with just one batt ???.. very strange i think.. it's like 12000W draw at input of the amp.. 12kW on 1 batt.. assuming that the voltage drop to.. let's say.. 7 Volts that mean..1714 A... on 1 battery..

that's why he is the loudest and you are not and I don't think the batt goes below 9V verry much

I need an NSB 90 it would seem... The most I've seen off of one G31 Optima, SP2150, or SP1700, was 900 amps and that was 10.0V drop. Sounds like this NSB 90 is a mean big boy battery. I'll order mine tomorrow I think see what she really has in her.

my nsb 90 drops to 10,3 with 4x ext 3000d @0,17 ohm draw is 1000 ampere and with 4 x t 3000 @ 0,17 ohm to 8,7 volts more then 1600 ampere draw
