a few weeks ago their was alot of people that were saying they had the 4000d and were saying they were gonna bench test the amp.
what happened to all those people that were saying in a few days they will post numbers for everyone?

i think i remember reading about this around the 3rd week of jan or so and now its the 17th of feb, almost a month later and no test numbers

I've red a test in a German magazine and here are the test specs
4ohm 461RMS
2ohm 770RMS
1ohm 973RMS

It was the 3de best amp in the test
The DLS A6 was the best

are you sure that you are talking about same model? Lanzar Vibe does 1200+ acording to carsound and Opti 4000D looks way more capable than than 1200.

People also doubted the opti2000d,why people would doubt the 4000d is beyond me(opti`s usually put out their rated power),it is also an cea2006 compliant amp(4000d) and from what somebody said on SD it uses the same boards as other amps such as the Soundstream XXX6500D and the Ground Zero 6000.1 .

we've heard all of this though. However, nobody has given us any real specs at all.

No current draw and at what voltage, no wattage output, no efficiency, how well it dissipates heat... None of that.

I know the 2000d is great but "if" the 4000d does not do a lot more than 4K, 2 strapped 2000ds are better for the money. So, again, it doesnt come down to if we believe in the optis, it's are we gettin our money's worth using the 4000d or strapped 2000ds.

I just talked to Soundstream about there XXX6500D which is same as the Lanzar Opti4000D. They claimed they benched the amp to do about 4500 watts @ 1 ohm with 13.5 volts. And the amp was drawing a tad over 400 amps.

I agree If you all liked the 2000d why doubt the 4000d's power [Confused]

I am not doubting it, i'm just saying if it only does 4K, then it would be better for the money to get 2 strapped 2000ds. What we want to see is if this thing can do more than 4K and if it can, how much more?
