ok a couple questions on these amps. first can u link them together like the 1000d's and when u link them what is the recommended impedance cuz i even though the 1000d is a one ohm amp i heard when u use the bridging module they should be run two ohm are the 500's the same way. thanks in advance

according memphis the 1000d when bridged can still do a 1 ohm load, it is also my understanding from memphis that the 500d can be bridged in the same fashion.

when a bridge a pair together, you want a 2 ohm load into the module, which send 1 ohm per amp.

When you bridge the memphis 1000d's the module doesn't see any of the ohm load at all. All the module does is take signal from the radio and inverts on side of it and send that to one amp and to non-inverted signal to the other amp. In this fashion how can the bridging module see any type of ohm load resistance from the speakers?

just talked to the memphis rep the other day. they no longer recommend a 1 ohm load when bridging 2 1000d's together. they said they had some "problems" with that.
