i have one 12'', 500rms, my amp choices are Phoenix Gold Octane R9.0:5 channel. it gievs 400rms at 2 ohm for my sub, kicker kx700.5 400rms to the sub, SOUNDSTREAM VAN GOGH VGA800.5 400rms to the sub, and Mtx THUNDER 895, wich is 320rms at 12.5, please help me decide on an amp, all of these amps can run my mids aswell

I've used the MTX before, and it was a great amp. I have'nt dealt with any of the others.

i just found a PG R8.0.1 800max 600rms@ 2 ohm, so maybe it would be best just to buy that, and then get another amp for my mids in a few weeks

look into the orion 7005, thats what i got right now running everything. i like it a lot, has excellent x-over settings. the sub channel is also pretty beefy for a 5 channel, got my 15H2 running off it, not loud, but definately good SQ. i would get this one unless money is not an issue, than get the Memphis Belle 5 channel, 1000 watts into the sub channel, and i think that is at 4 ohms?

stay away from the octane series, go with the kicker or the mtx,

the orion 7005 is a good offer as well, or any DEI product

MTX is good as well.

well the MTX is not enough power, the memphis pushes its power at 1 ohm, the PG seems like the best, what is wrong with the octane series?
