I just got down tearing into my car to find out where a pesky power drain was that Ive had for a few weeks. I had removed the comp gear and put in just a small everyday system to get me by untill we go down to SBN (not wanting the comp gear to "dissapear" before then).
Well, needless to say I went from about 2500 watts total in the car down to 250... I had a helacious power drain somewhere.
Today just out of curiosity, I put the comp stuff back in (amps anyway) and *presto*, power drain goes away. Just as a side note, the amps (all of them) are in perfect working order...
Have any of you had finicky electrical systems in your car after removal of a large system before?

I noticed a wierd behavior in a vehicle when I took out a remote starter. The suv's dome light and radio didn't turn on and off when they were supposed to. But after 2 days they went back to normal. Wierd as hell.
