i have a clarion eqs560 and a clarion mcd700x i want to put the eq before the mcd700x so i can use the aux on the eq. i only want to hook up the mcd700x for the mids and highs and run the sub amp off the eq only. my question is.... can i do that. run the deck to the eq. and then the eq to the x-over? will this create unwanted noise or will it clean it even more?

I am not familiar with those products but I think you could do what you are saying. I don't see how it would add noise, as you are going to have both in the signal path no matter how you do it, that is if you are going to use both no matter what. Just make sure you don't clip either of them.
