Here are a few of the latest pics of the famous (infamous?) Linear Power/Polk Audio Earcandy Breadtruck. This truck is definitely a force to be reckoned with!!

The pics are sorta huge, so I apologize if it takes a while for them to load.

Sir:

Refering to the "Mileage" It seems to be fairly consistant. (7.5mpg) We are VERY HAPPY to have such a high #. We were only showing 5.5mpg with the old engine!

We SHOULD!! have the van back together for the Jackson TN show in July.

I hope to see you there!!

Thunder.

Thanks "The Mack"!!!

Ha, that sounds like the mileage that I used to get in my old '72 Chrysler Newport! I think that Sir Mix-a-lot saw my car and got the idea for the "Hooptie" song.

Proaudio150:

You are right about the electrical problems.

We have created a situation that our sponsor Polk Audio had not thought of. TOO MUCH POWER!. They were not prepaired for the 200v@30amps per 6 subs we can deliver. The tensle leads shorted to the sub baskets. This is normally not a problem, except that our box faces are grounded to the vehicles chassis! (144 Spark plugs!!!) We did not do any real damage but it scaired the HELL out of us! So we are now moving the tensle lead connection to the top of the binding post and insulating the rear with a nylon washer. We HOPE this cures the problem. We will be running FULL power tests this comming weekend. I will let you know..

We hit 162.7db in Daytona with a 45hz tone at 1/2 vol.

80,000 watts RMS even @ 1hz if needed!! :-)
Peak--- "Who knows"

Thunder.
Driving it to the shows.
