I've decide on the IDMAX12. I want to run one JBl 1200.1 cause it was recomended and it's cheap, any better ones tell me. Do i need to get the D$ or the D@ version i want to run it at 2 ohms to get all the 1200 watts. Is a sealed or ported box better i want it to hit hard but get good SQ

get either the d2 or the d4 version cause the amp puts out max power(1200+) at 2ohms and 1ohm. the d4 will give you 2ohms mono and the d2 will give you 1ohm mono.

go with the D2 version and wire it for 1ohm, that way when impendance rise hits you wont be losing that much power..

yeah...the jbl amp...is stable at one ohm...but theres no increase of power from 2 ohms...to 1 ohm =)
