I am thinking about what sub would be best i want it to hit hard, my friend had a RF he2 with a 800.2 amp. and it hit good, i want it louder then that but i want to keep still good SQ since i won't play it loud all the time. I'm looking at the Eclipse Titanium, IDMAx, or the dd 9000 or 3500 series. I'm thinking of hooking up a jbl 1200.1 on cause its been recomended all are 1 12" subs.

All your idea's are pretty good ones. Id probably not go w/ the Ti simply due to cost, but its not my money. How much space do you have to work with? Is there a reason for using only a 12" sub? Do you prefer sealed, ported or impartial?

right now i have a dd 3512 in a 2.5^3 vented enclosure tuned to 38hz in my explorer with about 500 watts going to it and it gets really loud but it still have great sq imo. with that much power you might be better off with a 9000 series but either way the dd's will sound good. plus right now i think that they are still on sale here is a link www.ddaudio.com i cant say about the id max or the eclipse cause i havent heard them before
