Ok. Kevin Has Been Informing me on his new plans for our trunk and I am Incorporating some of my own. And as all of you know by now Im not all that good at this so bare with me and do your best to understand and help me please.

Ok For starters Our trunk is rattleing very badly. So kevin wants to take the cover off the spare tire well and Spray it With that Liquid rubber stuff Then Have the subs almost down in the Well, so that the subs are pointing at an angel towards the trunk, (If they are set sort of in the well there will be more room for a bigger port)This way the bass will repel of the trunk and roll backwards into the car (hopfully) Also, We have discovered that on the back deck there is a gap between the top of the deck, and where the trunk come together So I say Take the back deck up, spray that with the liquid rubber then lay down a layer of dynomat and lay the deck back down to get rid of any rattles there is this a good idea? Also, We have 6.5 Fanatic Q's that were in Kicks when we had the grand am.. But now that we have the corolla, what do you guys think about Angleing them in the back deck so that they are facing the front? There is alot more but I Doubt that u guys can even understand what im talkin about cause ima moron lmao.. but if anyone understands me, please reply.. thanks,

hmm so far the idea about the wheel well sounds like it could work if he knows what hes doing... (god knows i cant use tire wells for jack chit)

the only part i lost u on was the deck or panel. didnt understand what u meant.

as for the rockford q's well i dont like rear fill at all but the angleing should work just make sure it looks good

Ok I wanna make a lil volcano type enclosure out of the spare tire well then port it... Then take the lid off the back deck and kinda make my own back deck lid then fiberglass it so the speakers are facing forward... not at the glass and I think I can port the back deck as well... Cause in the factory metal there are 2 huge holes...

I'm lost on the wheel well thing.

Regardless, take the back panel off (I'm guessing it's cardboard or something) and trace it onto some 1/4 or 3/8 wood. This wiill give you something SOLID to work with. You can fiberglass it, mold it, make a port into it (hint)...plus, if installed rright, it wont rattle.

you could also put some sort of trim around the wood used for the back deck (or whatever else is used (however if you coat it with the spray rubber this won't be necessary..)..some manufacturers use a carboard type material on top of a metal deck so if that's the case building a new rear deck would be a good option to choose from...

the wheel well idea sounds good, i understood what you meant...

so the 6.5 fanatic q's will replace the rear fill correct? not adding along to it? that would sound good if angled forward and to the opposite side some, you'll have to fool around with it though...

i understood everything you said so if you wanna throw me a line on trifle02 on aim go for it...oh what year's the corolla? cuz my sister and her husband just got a 2002 a couple months ago so i'll be able to check it out and be more specific and understand more what you mean if you continue the explanation..

hope i can help
