ok, how do i convert a round port size to a slot port size? ppl have told me to use WinISD but my subs aren't in there and if someone would pls post the formula for it that would be most helpful (btw i'm looking for the equivalent to a 3" in diameter, 12" long port)

thanks

ok, i've been told that slot ports usually work in a ratio 1" of hieght to 8" of width, and with the box i'm building i'm gonna have to stop at 1" by 8", so how do i figure out how deep it needs to be? still a little confused

thanks guys

Z is rated impedance, say 4 ohms. Pe is power handling, say 300 WRMS and diameter is exactly what it says, what size sub is it? All those specs are not used by the program, they're only there as extra information.

ok, thanks for the info man, as of right now the program gives me 1" by 8", 10.5 " long as being equivalent to a 3" diameter 12" long port, that sound about right to you guys?

thanks
