On the www.wholesaleaudio.com website it says that the 757 and the 1507 are 1ohm stable is this true? I really need to know, cause that would be super cool, and i could run my two 12's at 1ohm instead of 4ohm..!!

the amp does funny things (the lights turn purple...at least mine did) at 1 ohm and then it starts to smoke.

my experiences

the mrvt 1507 will run 1 OHM STEREO AND 2 MONO
same for the mrvt-757
the mrvt-707 will also run 2 ohm mono and 1.3 stereo

any more ?? about alpine amps?

The 1507 & the 1505 before it can. Like it's allready been said they can run 1 ohm stereo or 2 ohm mono. It dosen't give any more power though I used to run 5 x of them at 2 ohm bridged no problems

Well you can try whatever you would like, my buddy had his 1507 installed by the shop at 1 ohm mono by mistake, it lasted one day and pooooooffff blew both dvc 4ohm subs. They put one sub in (that is all they had at the shop, ran it at 2 ohms mono with a new mvr 1507 poof, amp smoked again) He smoked 2 amps and 3 subs. He now has 2 alpine 1507's and 2 diamond audio 15's dvc 4 ohm subs.

Overpriced for 900 watts rms 1500watts dynamic power. But that's just my opinion.

most Alpine amps are only 4ohm mono stable...anything lower is just trying the components inside...Alpine doesn't underrate their stuff much...it does what it says and it does it well...but anything else, and it's a shot in the dark

Linux Airline
Disgruntled employees of all the other OS airlines decide to start their own airline. They build the planes, ticket counters, and pave the runways themselves. They charge a small fee to cover the cost of printing the ticket, but you can also download and print the ticket yourself. When you board the plane, you are given a seat, four bolts, a wrench and a copy of the seat-HOWTO.html. Once settled, the fully adjustable seat is very comfortable, the plane leaves and arrives on time without a single problem, the in-flight meal is wonderful. You try to tell customers of the other airlines about the great trip, but all they can say is, "You had to do what with the seat?"

I seriously doubt it. I've got an MRV F409 that won't even run four ohm mono very well. It gets so hot you can't put your hand near it after about an hour. ( This is bridged down to two channels instead of four)
