K... A buddy of mine at work has a KIKASS 1990 300ZX Twin Turbo.

In this car, among other things he has 3XLC 10s in a fiberglass pyramid style enclosure, 3 sets of Diamond Audio hex components. 2 in each door in custom built fiberglass enclosures. DVD, Navigation, Full computer system, nothing controlled through standard user interface. He has a 9" monitor in his dash, with all audio controls integrated into the computer system. All MP3 based. He has written and coded his own software and installed it on his custom built computer in the car. (this is where it gets TRICK). He pulls up a window on his computer, and it has like 30 some functions. Click the mouse, car starts, click the mouse, lights turn on, click the mouse, doors lock, etc. etc. etc. OR he can say "start" "dome light" "doors lock" "doors unlock" "radar on" "radar off".

He wants to put it in some magazines, and I know it wouldnt even be an issue of "if".. just an issue of "how". Ive subscribed to magazines for over two years, and ive NEVER seen anything like his car.. nothing even CLOSE.

Ive been to carsound, car audio and electronics, and a couple other websites, and in addition to being horribly designed sites.. I cant find anything telling me HOW to get in touch with them.

PLEEEEASE someone help me out, I told him I would find out some things for him
Thanks
Ryan

get a copy of the publications that you want to attempt to have the vehicle featured. Look inside the first few pages, and you will find the contact information. Call, write, send photos, or whatever else you can think of to grab their attention.

Also, there was an article in a antique auto magazine awhile back. The magazine had an article about how to get a vehicle featured in magazines.

Good luck

I know CA&E ran an article on how to get your car published a few years ago. I'll look and see if I can find it.

Ryan- take LOTS of good pictures, and work up a resume for the car. Send copies of a few of the best shots to the editors of the mags. That'll generally do it. Email me and I'll help work up the resume/etc. if you'd like.
