Need recommendations on high quality Electronic crossovers that I can adjust freq range of front channels, rear channels, and sub(s).

I'm thinking AudioControl. Maybe the 6XS. Anyone running the 6XS ?? Opinions ??

Dont use that try the DXS, it works great for me and my teammates, or u can try the Coustic XM-6 crossover. These 2 are my favourite.

then get the coustic XM-6, it has front, rear, sub and center inputs and outputs.

audio control will likely be noisey.

I'd do the coustic. I believe Memphis has one that will work for you also.

Look for continuously variable adjustments and 12 or 24db slopes. Avoid 18db if possible.

PXA-701, ROCKFORD 3sixty, for better sound i prefer analog design.

why not -18dB, Andy? just because of the phase issue inherent with -6 xovers?

^yea, 18db is a phase shift issue. Not saying I haven't used them, but it is VERY rare. 12/24/36 is much better, in general.


701 is a way more than he needs. Also not made anymore, and as reliable as a boat with a hole in it.

RF 360 is a POS, and more than he needs.

Try to go in dash;ARC AUDIO ARC-IDX or ZAPCO SX-SL2 OR sx-sl4 and try to buy something good.

I don't want a in dash unit. 2000 Oldsmobile Alero. Not really a place to mount a in dash unit. I prefer trunk mount.

Go simple--something like the Coutic XM6 is fine for what you are doing. Should be able to find it on ebay easily.
