Im looking to buy one of these but dont know which is better or what the difference between them even is.

advantages of the four.1 would be:
5 band EQ vs. 4band on the three.1
aux input

i also noticed the three.1 has a sub level control and the four.1 doesnt...

The 3.1 also has a high pass and low pass crossover.

The 3.1 was one of the best $200 improvements to my old system I made and the 2 guys above are right
