Please forgive my ignorance, but I know practically nothing about electronic crossovers. I have Infinity Kappa 3-way 6x9's in my rear deck and Infinity Kappa 2-way 4x6 plate speakers in my doors. They are powered by a Phoenix Gold 4-channel amp. Amp has either Low pass, high pass, or bypass filters. I want too get the full range each speaker is designed for, cut out everything above and below their range. Would a electronic crossover be what I need ??? I do have a second amp powering my sub. Headunit has 3 sets of RCA outs. Fronts, rears, and non fading for subs. Just want too cut out freqs each speaker isn't designed to reproduce. Not a competition system by any means, just good daily driver system.

I would just use the highpass crossover on the amp to cut out any freqs below what you want the speakers to play and not worry about the high cut off since the speakers will naturally roll off themselves for the highs.
