I was looking to buy a new amp and i have it's rateings here http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Crunch-2-Channel-power-Car-Amplifier-1000-WATTS-Amp_W0QQitemZ250197962192QQihZ015QQcategoryZ39732QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Description

1000W 1 / 2-Channel A/B Class Amplifier
250W x 2-Ch @ 4-Ohms
500W x 2-Ch @ 2-Ohms
1000W x 1-Ch @ 4-Ohms Dynamic Music Watts

I was wondering what Ohm load I would have with the following setup:
2 MTX XThunders Single Voice Coil. Each one is 250RMS

I really hope, I posted this in the right section and would very much appreciate the input.

Thankyou

If they are single 4 ohm each, you may not be able to bridge that amp with out it going into protect. @ each 4 ohm subs in parallel will make a 2 ohm load. You may have to run the amp is stereo with 2 of the 4 ohm subs.

If they are single 8 ohm subs, you will be able to bridge the amp, it is stable at 4 ohm bridged. @ of the 8 ohm subs in parallel make a 4 ohm load, which that amp can handle all day long.

WHERE'S MY POP-TART???!!!

Distortion doesn't kill subs, idiots do.

Ahhh, the sweet smell of burnt coils.
