got a few questions. i'm looking for something to give a a little more control over my sound over what the HU does. my previous HU (stock unit) had a four knob EQ (bass/treble/fade f-b/fade l-r) very basic but it made me happy just to have that much control. i was looking into a big 2 channel 31 band eq, but it would be in the trunk, and i would have no control while driving. so i think i want something in dash. i saw the Deq-7600, i have a pioneer deh-7200 and a pioneer cd changer (non-fm modulated) can i hook a deq-7600 up. does the cd-changer use the same port on the back of the HU. would i be happier with say an Audio Control three.1 (easier to use, knob style, versus digital)

I don't personally know which one you will be happier with.... but as far as the EQ goes it gives you a good bit of control. I had one about 2 years ago and loved it(of course girls liked the pretty light show but thats another story). As far as hooking it up is concerned, just run your front and rear RCA outs into the inputs of the EQ, then run your amps off of the outputs of that. Hope that helps some

B.t.w. - the only complaint I had about that piece is that the RCA's are mounted directly on the board and after uninstalling and re-installing multiple times, the RCA's started to get a bad connection on the trace, causing terrible engine noise. Soldered the connection and all was well. THe AC 4.1 is nice as well, though less control and no pretty lights. Better quality and constant center though....
