i have one. what would you like to know about it? i love mine . when i first got it i hated it thought it sucked. but once i got it dialed in it grew on me. the built in volt meter is nice. as far as the mic i have no idea how accurate compared to the tl it is but it give some people a wow factor. one thing i dont like about it is there really isnt a normal setting. you either have it on or off and when it is off it seems to attenuate the bass. like if you hook the rcas up to the deck straight through and skip the epic you will notice more out put then through the epic with the bass enhance off. BTW that place is where i got mine and was the best price for it new. also when using the spl portion if it is not on peak hold you wont see a very good number as it is constantly changing. IE it will top at like a 145 when on peak hold it does like a 52. anything else?

It says 157. those numbers don't go past that no matter what kind of adjustments I do.

i have a freind who went from 1-12 to 4-12s in his car and is stuck at a 152 could be install could be the mic but he wants to test on the termlab to see what is the difference. his running my old amps and soon were gonna test them versus my new amps maybe my amps will get him past a 152 lol

^^^ Actually it's a little higher now. *LOL* The Mt is louder than the 12's on the epic. Hearing wise the 12's are louder, they simply make your ears hurt.
1-12 RE MT 2Cf@50 Hz: 153-154
4-12" TC 5Cf sealed: 152-153
Last time that I've tested the 12's on the TL with music and without tunning it read higher than 146. [Frown]

My friend had one and gets it up to around 145db, I know thats WAY high though, he only has a PPI PCX-1500 amp and three JL 12WO's it can't possibly do much better than a 136-139 in the TL

the spl meter in it is very useless, but the epic-150 will go to 160 as well, so paying extra for the 160 is a dumb idea when the 150 will go just as high. the volt meter is in-accurate, but the restoration in cool. is can ride around town smashin to the tempations and the doors, its cool by me.

Well how does it affect setting amp gains. Does in increase the voltage to the amps when the "KNOB" is cracked or does it act as a bass boost?
