its got a quite large range of features, 31 band eq which is easy to tune, flexible xovers that can really help in a two way set up but not so good in threeway.

What i really like is the ddc controller, that plus a simple nice sounding headunit makes for a kick ass double din set up.

Where it really shines is behind an audiocontrol lc6 used for integrating into a factory sound system, infiniti g35 seems to come to mind.

Honestly you can't go wrong, just its pricy but honestly worth it.

thanks for the reply , i was told not to get it because , if i loose power (12v)in the car all the settings will be erased [Frown] and I'm not the one that's going to tune it .

It is a very agile processor with dynamic DSP processing, memory stays saved for months without use.

I'm also interested in this but am curious about why you say its no good for 3 way setups. I'm not running a 3way setup at the moment but I may in the future so I would like to have that option.

Also if you go with a DQXS make sure you ground the DQXS to the highs amp otherwise will will end up with some nasty turn on and off pops.

One 220 amp alt, soon to be a 240 adj regulated
One 15" sub
2000 watts

I had no problem with it not being grounded to the high-pass amplifiers. This is a very good processor as far as I can see. If you have good system setup, it doesn't take long to register a perfect RTA curve. I really enjoyed this piece of equipment.

Hi.

I have one DQXS, I competit in SQ Ultimate class, the thing is you have only the High front, low front, rear high and the subs, in a 3 ways system you have to usea a full range output, this processor dosent have one, only have the high and low outputs, I have a 3 ways system with a 3 ways crossover, but I only use the crossovers to de Mid-bass and the Mid range, because I have to use the tweeter direct from the DQXS fron High pass and the mid-bass and mids from the front low pass, thats the only way then you can have a 3ways system, I talk with audio control and for the 3 ways they recomend the DQS with central channel ore the DQT and in my opinion the for 3 ways system its the DQX.

YOU CAN DOIT USING THE DQXS BUT ITS MORE OCCUOR AND YOU HAVE TO USE THE HIGH PASS WIHTOUT the 3 ways crossover, you can only use from the high pass from the EQ.

if you worry about losing the settings if power is disconnected, write them down on a piece of paper.
