This is the deal and why i got in way over my head here, my job is in the works of getting a Saab 7 SUV for a show car and it needs to have an amazing system in it, SQ is a priority but the sub is going to be high power just for a candy "wow" factor. The vehicle needs to draw eyes and ears.
So the early plans are using DLS Iridium 8.3 comps, active, and a single sub and everyting being powered off USAmps (AXTU300C for tweets and mids, 600C for mid bass, AX3000DE for sub). If there are other options out there for equpiment i would love to hear hit, but i cannot do custom comp sets just because the audience will need to identify a brand with the speakers/amps. There will be at least 1 comp set in the front and one in the back with the sub, i have no idea what i'm going to do with the rear doors yet. The reason for the 8.3s near the sub is during the marketing disply this vehicle will be at the rear hatch will be open and full range sound needs to be audible and clear, while driving these will be turned off.
So here is where i get lost, the processing. I need crosovers for the 8.3s and i was looking at Zapco's SLX-4, am i on the right track or is there something better? I'm assuming i need 2 of the SLX-4s since i will have 2 sets of 8.3s? I can't touch the factory HU, so is the JL Clean Sweep + CL-SES (i'll need multiple sources, like an ipod) the best solution? is there one better? I need an EQ for all of it and i have no clue where to start. I saw Zapco's EQ30SL but if i was to EQ the front and hatch setups differently that requires $2000 worth of EQs alone. If the world was perfect i would be able to EQ 1 setup with front+rear+sub and a 2nd with Hatch8.3s+Sub+open environment.
As for product reccomendations i'm looking for Zapco quality and have a pretty large budget, so if $2000 of EQing is the ONLY option i'll take it, but i would perfer $1000-$1500 if it is only fractionaly worse or it fits the install better.
Thanks in advance for the help.

for the processing, jl cleansweep is good option. For the eq and crossover, why not an audio control dqxs or even a pair of em, one for the rear portion of the install. These are quite cheap compared to your 2000 dollars of eq approach and offer more in terms of flexibility. As for crossovers, if the dqxs don't have enough options, why not match a us amps crossover with the amps? That way cleanliness and flow is kept high.
I think, for sub, you will want to go ported. I know sq is the main priority here, but ported can sound damn good as well as offering the advantage of getting loud even if all doors/hatch are open.
Good luck, get pics when done.

i didn't want to go with audiocontrol because i heard of many people having noise issues, but i have never had any first had experience with them.
sealed v. ported is simply going to be what fits the install better. if it's designed the way i think it is going to be, sealed will almost a requirement just to avoid a lot of troubles.
tahnks for the input though, keep em coming!
