I have a good system and am looking to upgrade, sound qualitywise. I am really not that happy with the functional aspect of my DQX. It's in my glove department, and there's just too much hassle song to song with the tuning thing.
I would like the DA11 to come out of my Eclipse 8053 HU, then go into 2 EQ30-SL's that finally go into a SX-SL for fine tuning on a song to song basis AT the dash.
If you guys know anything about the processors, they all add up to around $2300, real world pricing, with all the Symbilink wiring, etc. An AWFUL lot of money for some processors alone!
Anyway, I would like to know your opinions on this and how would the 8053 handle in this setup. the 8053 IS balanced out at 8/16 volts, and ALL these components are 16 volts all the way through.
PLEASE help before I invest all this money into this setup!!! ANY feedback would help in my decision.
Here's a list of my system in case it plays a role in your comments...

HOW WOULD THIS SETUP WITH THE NEW ZAPCO PROCESSORS SOUND AND ANY OPINIOS WOULD GRETALY HELP!!!

looks like you have good equipment and zapco is definitely worth the money, but i could not guarantee you that your system will sound great. in my opinion, install is the key. you could purchase a million dollars worth of equipment, but if your install is lacking, it will sound like crap. i run zapco products and i would not purchase anything else do to the sound and quality of their products. good luck with the install and post some pics of the finished product Posts: 36 | From: beckley wv | Registered: Dec 2003

Why not just use DA11 and DSP6SL this way you'll get 3 way Xover, 10 band EQ/channel, time alignment and if you get the DRC-SL you'll be able to preset your EQ and have it in memory at the dash. plus i think you'll save a bit. cmiiw
maybe the 10 band eq might sound a bit weak, but it has adjustable Q and center freq.
just my 2 cents
