Anyone seen this yet, i am not sure on the model number but its the 5 channel processor. I looks kinda cool to me, pretty cheap two. and its dobly

damn lieing crutchfield they said that Fosgate adn Dobly worked closely together and it can take non-dobly music ie: regular cds and put it into a 5 channel emviroment with added depth and clarity. I still think it would be neat to have one.

Oh, no they are right about that. I must have mis understood your question. The RF5000 can do all of that, and Jim Fosgate did work very closely with the Dolby Labs to create it. I thought you were asking if it were along the lines of a Dolby processor. It is and isn't. The RF5000 does everything in the analog domain, while most Dolby processers convert to digital. Kind of neat how this thing works- definitaly an "Advanced Topic" tyoe of thing.

Is it supposed to work like a center channel type amp but help control all aspects of the sound intstead of one? and doesn't alpine have something similar or is it jus t another center channel amp? I probably wouldnt buy it unless i had money to kill but it would be one of those neat little things to say you have in your car.
