anyone out there using a 210eq? i have a question no one (including sony - big surprise!) seems to be able to answer. i need to reset the unit to erase the dsp/eq memory for each source/disk. any ideas?

here is the setup:

head unit - cdx-m650 es
source selector - xa-c30
dsp/eq - xdp-210eq es
cd changers (2) - cdx-828 es
amps - xtant & soundstream
speaks - a/d/s 336is & alchemy 10"

thanks

hmm... I don't know cuz I don't have one.... yet. but there's a reset button on my headunit. would that reset the dsp? maybe there's a reset button the dsp too. and if that doesn't work, there should be a way to manually delete it. like named CDs. u can go through and delete stored names. maybe there's something similar for the dsp?

Augh, someone help me. I have this bad habit of constantly handing my wallet to my stereo and letting it do what it wants with it....

There IS no way to do it. The only way is to manually erase EVERY SINGLE CD entry, and start over. I had to do it about four years ago, and I can't even tell you how anymore, but SOMEWHERE in the manual it talks about removing entries from the disc memo memory, and that's where you've got to start. Good luck.

Sound familiar ?
