I have a small problem that I hope some one can help with. I have an EPX2 and found a balanced line transmitter to go with it. The problem is that the cable is missing. I would like to know if a shielded 6 pin mini din cable (keyboard style) the correct cable to use. I know it has the correct ends but are the internal wires twisted or anything?

Use it.
Unless you want to go buy a RF one from a dealer at a premium...

Mouser.com would have higher quality 6 pin din cables if you find that one to be lacking in noise rejection, and for cheap as well.

Just some heads up.
