K, so I've been sitting on an audio control overdrive line driver for a month or two, figured why not hook it up ...
Let me give you a little history to this... I have a PPI4400 50x4, or 200x2...I had it running 200x2 to a component set of CDT 4" and the tweeter...it sounded fine...then I figured I'd just run it at 50x2 to the comps and 50x2 to some midbass....I noticed a slight decline in the volume...not huge... So thats a diff of 200x2 to 50x2 just on the comps...
now, I add the line driver, so still powered 50x2 to the comps, and no S$%T, it sounds like I just put about 1000 watts to them. It honestly sounds like I am really using my amps now....what the F! Why didn't anyone tell me about these things sooner! And the craziest ****e, is that it didn't even light up the 1volt LED yet!
My Hu puts out around .25volts, (2volt peak) as do most middle range pioneer units..

yeah, but most of the time they probably just advertise the HU as 4 volt or whatever, and its actually like 1....like pioneer advertising its 45x4 watt HU...yeah right, its more like 9x4...
