Does the old Audiocontrol 2xs have a built in one or is it only on the newer models? If not would someone recommend the new 2 or 3xs.

Thanks in advance

I believe that the 2xs I owned a couple years ago had the subsonic filter set at 23 hz, and I think that was pretty much standard...

That subsonic flter has always been a bone of contention for some when it came to AC processors. They used to have a fixed value on all their xovers at 23hz but have gone to a programmable one in their newer units. Some like the MVC have a subsonic filter at 33hz only on a single set of outs and it is adjustable as well. Just look for a recent version of the prcessor you're looking at and adjust if necessary. As for choosing one unit over the other it depends on your application but the 3XS definitely gives you more flexibility. Somthing to think about.

Thanks for the info... I guess I would rather have an x-over with an easy to adjust subsonic filter and not with a plug in chip. Do you know of one that might do this?

thanks
