Give me x-over points and slopes, and we'll see what we can do!

STILL waiting to hear a GOOD pair of HLCD's!!

If it dont fit, force it... if it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway...

ok, thanks. i've got a couple questions there also. i'm hoping to use Dynaudio speakers, it depends on my budget after i finish building my house ($$$$$). if i use 8's in the floor boards, 5.25's and tweets in the kicks, what kinds of crossover points and slopes should i be looking for, roughly? i know alot of this will be vehicle dependant also. i've got a '96 ford ranger by the way. and i want to use a component set in the rear. and one last thing, this is it i promise, i'm using a phoenix gold M-100 (100x2 rms @ 12v) to power my front stage and want to get the ohm load around 2 ohm stereo. what's the best way to go about that with the setup i've listed? sorry for all the questions, but even though i've been installing for 4 or 5 years now, my systems are by far the most complicated i've done and that still hasn't been saying much. everything around here is just "a head and 4 speakers" and none of the more "experienced" guys around here seem to know which way is up. kinda hard to ask questions if the answer is always "huh?".

Are your 8's going to be used as subs or mids?? That will determine box size and x-over frequency. It is going to be tough to just design a passive system and have the x-over points nailed. Try to find out what dynaudio recommends for all your drivers and get back to me, I'll draw you up a couple of diagrams with different freqs. and different ways to wire your rear speakers. By the way, I wouldn't use a high end component set in the rear of the car, they tend to "pull" the image toward the rear of the car. My suggestion would be just a decent set of coaxials for the rear.
