i went to car toys today and bought me a Pioneer Premier PEH-P720 ($480!) and i brought it home, hooked it up and am loving it already, except for one thing, I am worried about the elctroeluminescent display, when the deck switches to screen saver mode, (very cool) it goes for a few minutes and then everything that was color switches to black and everything that was black switches to color, (it reverses) is it supposed to do that???? it only does it for like 10 seconds. Is that just part of the screen saver????????? I hope so, i am alreday worried to death. Please answer as soon as possible, any replys would be muchly appreciated, thanx, M@tthew

Hey soloud, I had the 8000R which had a similar "problem". I read the owner's manual and discovered that there are two types of demo modes. One of the demo's was for features, & the other was a reverse video demo. Read your manual about the demo modes, which will probably include pressing buttons 5 or 6 with the deck turned off, acc on. This should keep the deck from doing the reverse video demo. Email me if you have any other questions.
