Hey well I finally got my system installed a 9015 with a jbl 1200.1 in a 5 cubic foot box. It is all good and loud now except theres a small problem. When the bass hits hard the amp seems to skip but i think it might just shut off for a fraction of a second making it sound like it skipped. Either way it is driving me nuts! Well I don't wanna sound retarded ans say its skipping cause the bass is hitting so hard but that might be the case. Should i try some foam or a brace in the nack? But the problem I think It is from what I have heard is the voltage drop. When really hard bass hits my ampmeter goes down to almost 11 volts, is that too low? My lights dim quite a bit, and maybe the deck just isnt getting enough juice? I am not sure but I owuld like some help if anyone has some. Also I heard people talking about getting a new changer to stop the skipping what is that I mean whats the difference between a cd player and a "changer"???? thanks, kyle

I had my inline fuse under the hood come loose after a while and make it seem like my "amp" was skipping. or turning on and on. check while its bumpin if the amps green light goes on and off, or into protection real quick. i just retightened the fuse.
just a thought
