I use a Clarion 7575z now, but I sold my car and might be looking for a new h/u to put in the 1970 Cutlass. I really likes the looks of the new Alpines, and the 7861 seems like it would be right for me. Does anyone have any experience with this headunit? what do you think? Also, I'm interested in the Kenwood Excelon X715, Panasonic df600u, or maybe even the new Clarion 8675. Right now I'm kind of leaning towards th Alpine... anyone want to help make the decision easier for me?

Start with the Kenwood Excelon X715. Try that first. Otherwise the Alpine CDA-7863 would be the equivalent for the Alpine compared to the Kenwood.
