Guys, many of you know i recently purchased an RFX8230 from c-field.
i like everything about this deck, except that it seems to be skip happy, not only when hitting bumps, but just in general, ill be driving, and it will skip, or going around a corner... and it will just skip

Now, i KNOW this deck is part of the Hyundai/Fujitsu/Eclipse clan, and i know they have a reputation for skipping.. HOW DO I FIX IT?!?!?!?!?

please help me... its driving me nutz

Did you use a backstrap? I know it'll be a pain, but I would suggest pulling the deck and remounting it, using backstraps, or, even better, ISO mounting it if possible. Not too much else you can do. If it continues to skip, send it back. Oh, could it also be a case of a dirty disc/laser? Try running a laser lens cleaner through it.
