I posted this in SQ by accident. then realized there was a source unit forum.. but since Dukk has kinda answered half my question. heres my question again..Please advise on head unit, and center channel selection..thanks:::
Here's the deal... i'm looking into getting a new head unit for my new stereo setup.I have a Chevy Tahoe and i am sure i will nedd a center channel for imaging assistance.I will be running Cd Tech 3 way components up front w 150 wattsx2 amplifier(unsure of what brand yet). Heres my problem.. i want to purchase the new Panasonic cq-drx900u head unit. it comes with a 5 watt center channel..is it just me or will this be way too small for my setup?? what are my other alternatives? purchase the cq-df800u without the center channel and get an eq/crossover with center channel outputs and add an external amp? If so what size speaker is optimum for a center channel? how much power? Should i match my 150 watts for the fronts? hope your not as confused as i am now(maybe not confused, just uncertain)
any other suggestions??? thanks for any advice steve
