I'm not talking about the Day/Night Glow face. I'm talking about the one with the speaker that rotates out of the CD face. It sure seems cool, but is it really worth it. I mean it's FIVE watts? What's everyone's opinions?

My honest thoughts would get me banned...

Now do you really think that that little 'transducer' (I can't refer to it as a speaker) will actually give you a decent center channel?
In home theatre, you should match your centre channel to the mains. This gives a uniform sound as an object pans across the screen. If your front speakers resemble that thing, you need more help than I can give
I generally feel that the centre (along with the sub) is the most important speaker in the system. It covers about 80% of the action on the screen and almost 100% of the spoken dialogue. I'd like to hear speech through that guy.

I might seem a little rough, but that 'feature' is solely an attempt to snatch the unaware consumer. I generally respect Matshusita, but that is nasty...

Thanks for your opinion Dukk. I wasn't actually considering buying one, but just wanted to know the 411 on it.
