Has anyone experienced, or heard of, any problems with this deck? The one that I have currently is going bad. As I play a cd (not sure if radio has same effect) the volume level cuts in and out and the sound will totally cut out at high levels and pitches. I was wandering if anyone has heard of problems with the cd lasers or the amps contained within the deck. This is only happening to speakers being ran off of the deck's interal amp. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

In all, Kenwood has always been a dependable product. You might want to check all of you speakers. There is a possibility one or more of your speakers are operating at an abnormal resistance, either too high or too low. This would cause similar cutting out problems. If its under warrantee you might want check with the place you boughtit. Kenwood is also a good place to contact, they would know weather this is an ocurring problem with those decks.

I have had this deck for quite some time. It has been nearly a year. All of the speaker connections are good and nothing has any problems that I can see.
