i installed 2 15" subs in a 99 escalade and did not change the factory bose equipment that was in it .. i am getting terrible noise from the delco radio weather it is on or not ...(when the car is running, and the power to the radio is off?) the remote to the amp, is connected to the fuse box, in the radio slot (15 fuse), so power to the amp goes off when the power button to the radio is turned off.. i have a separate input to test if it is the line out converter..and everything works quietly till i connect the RCA's to line out converter i dont think the problem is the converter,, but it may be the wires i tapped into,? i could really use a harness diagram for a 99'cadillac escalade with the bose system. or the place of the exact wires, cause i cannot figure it out.. i did try a noise filter..and that was a waste of money !!! please help me !!!!

the noise is coming from the subs.. the interior speakers work perfectly, but the moment i connect the RCA's the humming begins,, i connected my ipod to the amp via RCA's and there was zero extra noise just sweet clean bass,, this would indicate, that the ground to the amp is working properly and well grounded.. i am using a scosche (FIA-3A) line out converter and i beleive it to be connected properly.. but i may be tapped into the wrong wires on the delco HU.. can you direct me to a site that will give me complete layout of wiring harness coming out of the delco HU. or give me any ideas you have on fixing this please let me know.. i did connect a ground loop isolator to both ends of my system..(right at the amp and at the line out converter) didnt effect it in either position..
