ALPINE easy to operate. I use the cheapest one that had the mute pause buttons and will never use anything else.I used pioneer and panasonic JVC and i find this unit is easiest for me.

Is all the att role of kenwoods the same because i heard theres one that is like pause and then the evenly role one , and does anyone know what kenwoods have att with the evenly role ?... Thank u

All the kenwoods I have owned have the same att role, very smooth, and I prefer the ease of operation to the alpine I had or the pioneer deck.

i don't know of any kenwoods made in the past 3 years that didn't have it. I have the KDCX792 and 492 from the 08 models, and the KDCX693 from this years models.
If looking for a cool deck, I think the Kenwood Excelon KDC-X693 and KDC-X993 are going to be some of the best single-din decks of any brand this year! You can change every color on the radio. invertible display colors. F,R,&sub crossovers with 6,12,18,or24db adjustable slopes and a lot of frequencies. Time alignment.(front rear sub, not left/right) 3pair of 4v outputs. USB/Ipod-12v or 5v charging. Aux-in available too. pretty sweet in my opinion
built-in bluetooth on the 993(only difference between them). GREAT price for what you get. I wanna get a couple more to have for future cars.

and yes, they have Pause on deck and remote. and attenuate that rolls out pretty nicely
