ok just got a rfx-8140 and a bnib rfx-8601 from a freind of mine. I remeber seeing these in a ton of db drag vehicles.why?

yes hi voltage preouts, copper case....BUT in everyday use they turned up to be bad...slow reading of cd....very sensitive on dirty cd/s, vibrations etc...especially when they get older....

Ι used to own an RF 8140 deck along with a symmetry EPX...
When i switced to ALPINE the system sounded twice as loud, Seemed like i have put bigger amps...
