i bought this headunit about 8 months ago and love it i previously had the cda 9883 and before that tha 9856 i love these headunits, i only have one problem i have been trying to set the head unit to play tracks off my laptop using the ai-net connector turning it into an auxiliary line when i connect the cable from the auxiliary to the 3.5 jack in my laptop i get music but only from my front speakers and i cant control anything from my head unit, i cant increase the volume or anything. what am i doing wrong. currently the set up is the alpine head unit a hifonics amp for the mids and a crunch amp for the lows the mids are set up using both front and rear rca in the head unit and lows connected to the subwoofer dedicated rca. help! i also want to connect a portable dvd player in the car and i want to have this issue solved before i get the dvd player. thnks
