eq leave it off flat and bass at 63 hz sla put at +3 if available not sure with that head unit . loud on sub at 0 to much bass and it will hurt .to much volume it will hurt . your best bet is to find the freq and roll the volume slowly up .

I have the 6000UB which is similar. All of my settings are as follows. It has a seven band eq built in and the two lowest freqs are set to -1. Also the sla is set to 0. There is no bass boost or anything of the sort to increase the signal to the amp. I do however use a bass knob when I burp the car or listen to it daily. Bass knob never see's more than 3/4 of the way up. I have the gains set very very conservativly on the amp to avoid burning coils. I DO NOT reccomend using bass boost on the sub amps at all.

when i was competing i had an external headunit for burps so that was easy. now that i am burping using the interior headunit, i simply set everything else up after establishing the burp settings. leaving the sub level @0db and the xover all the way up on the unit. match the gains on the amp for max power output for max spl. from there i turn the sub-level down all the way (then off to find setting for front stage) the turn up sub level to the desired listening volume, xover setting (xover flat or up all the way on the amp and control listening xover through the headunit), etc.

Everything switched off or flat.

Use any of the normal RCAs, not necessarily sub out.

Find clip point of head-unit.

Choose volume level and adjust amps to suit.
