i have a 05 bonniville gxp that im putting a headunit in ( kenwood k617). anyway i was wondering if anyone knows of a adapter in which i can still keep the onstar portion of the car working without loosing it. any help would be appreciated.

you could try the bestkits BHA2001R and BHO2001R, and relocate the radio to the trunk. Just make sure you get the part numberS with the "R" on the end. It stands for Ribbon.
Typically at the shop we would use the GMCO2, but I'm not sure if that retains onstar or not. You could always call Aamp of America and find out.

thanks for your help dbass. i was doing some searching and found a GMOS-09. here is a link
