Anyone use this Kenwood Excelon deck? I'm thinking about getting one since I get good pricing on them. Anyone have anything good or bad to say about this model in particular?
I have a hatred for Pioneer/Premier decks. The only Alpines with USB don't have CD drives.(thanks Apple). Had enough trouble with a few JVC Arsenal decks from last year's lineup. Clarion's sub control does virtually nothing, and you can't see the displays for junk. Sony has been crap since Xplod came out. All of those brands are out of the question.
Eclipse cd7100 might be an option. so i'll take advice on that too.

I ended up just getting the 792 model. We had that in stock. I couldn't put up with my JVC anymore after it nearly screwed me at a competition. My boss was dicking around and not getting me my price from kenwood

I've got one. It's a really good deck. Forget about it skipping. It's got a 45sec antiskip. Crossovers to do everything. 5 volt pre outs. Alot of people use this deck for SQL due to the fact that you can do so much to your music with it. For SPL I just put everything to thru and turn off the internal amp.
