Can you tell me more about this unit?
I heard about this unit from Alpine.co.jp website. I read it's greatest HU on the maket now. How much?
How about sound?

From what I've heard, if it's the same one I think you are talking about, a dealer that I work with told me something maybe even up to 3 g's. That's just what I've heard, but I'm not too sure. That's the new unit going in on that Mercedes project right?

It's spec of flagship Alpine 7990 better than 7909.
It's use highest quality D/A convertor 24bits-sine magnitude Burr-Brown. And work with new processor H-900.

they had it at CES. It looks really nice and i did hear that it is about 3gs with the H900 being about 4gs. THey had it in a Mercedes S55, but the really nice car is the M3 that they had it in.
FYI: the power source is external for the 7990.
