anyone ever try using the aux input of the RFX 8140? does it still retain the same signal strength ?
the rfx8140 doesnt play written cd's very well...so id like to get another cd player and hook it up to the rfx aux input to retain the 8 volt output voltage and output impedence.

I dont have any problems playing burned cd's on my RFX 8140 , offcours CD-RW's and mp3 it doesnt play
Regards the same output voltage : well its a input : so it depends how well the input voltage and quality of the source is ; If that input signal is not high , you always can add a linedriver or something equal between the inputsource and the input from the RFX 8140 to raise the level
Just some suggestions I would not replace that HU verry fast , to much clean great signal
And , regards aux input's in general : on all Hu's its the same : it depends how the input signal is versus output from it
