Single or double din? I love my Alpine W205. Are you using a processor as well? I run the optical to my 701 processor. This way the signal is only being converted once (not 3 times). I definately got rid of some noise by using the optical rather than the ai-net cable by itself. Martin

I'm sure there are some others, and you can have just about any deck modified to have a digital out. You'll lose the volume control and will have to add it later on in the system, and you will lose am/fm. Basically you will have an expensive CD transport.
A few Alpine and Clarion CD changers also have a digital out.

I am just looking at the options out there if I decide to go that route for my next system. Could be single din or double din, don't have a vehicle yet for the next system.
If you use the optical output can I still also use the RCAs?
