Yesterday one of my installers replaced a (non-amplified,non-bose) factory radio in a 1998-1999 Oldsmobile Aurora. We put in a good JVC Arsenal deck. Now, the vehicle status display where you can see date, fuel economy, etc... is saying "DATE NOT AVAILABLE". all other functions on the display work. I figure something must have run through the stereo perhaps, something with the BCM?
Any ideas on a way around this? The customer didn't like not having the date for some reason.
