i've been asking around, and everyone keeps telling me that eclipse do not skip. may need to try that. one of our team mates pulled a skip happy pioneer 6900 out of his truck and put a mid line eclipse in and all skipping went away.
also, i have not seen many skip issues with jvc aswell.
give me some opinions and suggestions.

In the expedition i did with the 4-06s12L7's we used an Eclipse CD3000. The cd never skipped, but the track would actually start over occasionally during a heavy beat.

deck goes up to 80, that a lot of control for bassrace. but a long way to roll up for low impedance burps. how many volt outputs does the model you're looking at go to? 5v?8v?
