What is the best HU for running street class? What are you guys useing/know people are useing?

i have seen many Alpine decks shut off on a burp though

I dunno. Mine seems to work great even down to 9.4 volts. I might have a lucky one then or something. [Blob]

i know on some street and street max cars ive seen the voltage drop below 8V, will and cd player out now still play below that? or could i find somebody to remove the voltage protection....IDEA!!!!!!!!!!

In europe, much of the top street guys are using a Sony CDX-C90R (older model).

The CDX-C90R costed about 1500eur new in Europe, that's about 2000USD [Wink]

It was their "top SQ" unit.

I remember someone mentioned a half farad cap on the CD player's 12v power to keep it from shutting off, not sure how well that works...
