I can't even describe how frustrated I am right now..
My deck has a problem with the second screen not lighting up. Looked around the net, found out it's a ribbon cable problem.. Cool, no big deal.. Order it up, get it here and swap out the ribbon cables.. The mother****er still doesn't work! An hour and a half worth of dash disassembly, and head unit repair for no ****ing reason.
Pioneer premier my ass, piece of ****.
I just got my RE XXX 15" back from being reconed, and I can't even install it.. ****!
Does anyone have any idea what I can do? I don't want to get another deck when I have a supposedly top of the line one already(bought in 2005 sometime).. I mean what the ****?!?!?!?!?!??!?!!?

My pioneer 980bt almost two years old works perfect.Sorry for yours,pioneer premiers have a two year warrenty take it to your premier dealer you bought it from and maybe they can help you out.Most premier dealers will help you out even if it is a few months out of warrenty.Heck even pioneer has fix a few a little out of warrenty me.

yeh got mine right away! I am a pioneer guy.Love it. Use it for burp radio now.
Had the p1r when it came out right away loved that deck also.

Cut your loss and get a good deck! Pioneer may be a good product but I have never had any luck with them! Just to let you know how they are a rep call me and said I have some portalbe Nav units on sale so I took one. When I got it the map on it was completly wrong the street I live on it named something else. POI are crap. so I call Pioneer the told me the maps were out of date. I said Go figure. they wanted $250.00 to upgrade and it will not be aval.til Sept. sometime. That shows you how pioneer is. Back on the head units I have never owned one that work very long. I guess you name has to be Scott Owens to get good product from them!

same thing happened to my 960mp. =( it really sucks to cuz its a good deck. i want to send it in to get repaired but I used the harness for another radio

LOL.. I have a Pioneer deck from 96 and another from 99, both work flawlessly.. They just don't have dual rca-outs so I can't use them(don't like hi-level inputs).. It's just this damn double face/screen ****..
I'll prolly end up with a 980bt or something with only one screen.

My midline Pioneer 5800 has worked flawlessly...
Better than Sony and Alpine for the price, Eclipse is just rediculously priced for me...
Who else makes decent HU?
