I got something wrong with my HU. I read alot about how Alpine's skip alot. But man....I had this problem only sometie. But, now that I have 4 12's with a little wattage from a Rockford 1500BD, I sometimes have to adjust the volume so it doesn't skip. It's not reall y askip either. It's kind of like it pauses itself and that's it. Any clues or should I get a new HU. Any suggestions on something guaranteed not to skip.

I've seen a few Alpines that were really picky about skipping. Although current models may be better.

For anti-skipping, I'd suggest pioneer but I'm sure you will hear conflicting stories. (even though I'm having issues with my Avic)
